Untethered Jailbreak iOS 7-7.0.2

This 7jailbreak.com looks very legitimate which includes the way to Jailbreak.

I was cautious not to try with my iPhone 5 but tempted to try on my iPad Mini. It got stucked in the middle if the process which leads me to investigate further.

Finally, I found that this website a scam website that does an on-device survey scam.

That's why I wondered why they required as to download an app first. Also it did not show the Cydia icon. (Take note of the YouTube video - which Channel created this?)

[HOW-TO] - Update Your iOS 7 the Easy Way by Using iOS 7 Download Links

The firmware update will be available to all users with a compatible iOS device. iPhone owners using an iPhone 4, 4s or 5 will be able to grab hold of the new firmware for their devices.

1. Use the iOS 7 download links shown below.

2. Download the right iOS 7 for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

3. Plug the device into the computer and perform a backup. Installing the iOS 7 will erase your iPhone so please do a backup for restore and sync later.

4. Open iTunes (NOTE: Must install iTunes 11.1 - Download from here) and upgrade to the iOS 7 by choosing Restore.

Be sure to hold alt/option on Mac when you click Restore.
On Windows, hold Shift when you click Restore.

5. Find and click on the .ipsw file you downloaded.

6. Complete the iOS 7 installation and restore from backup.

[How-To] - Update iOS 7 Beta 6 and Download the ResetMusicAndVideosLibraries Profile Without A Developer Account

You may install the iOS 7 Beta 6 by downloading the right files from HERE.

Or if you are already on iOS Beta 5, you can simply OTA and update from the iOS device. However, there is still a configuration file that needs to be downloaded and install.See below.

This update addresses an issue with iTunes in the Cloud, where some purchases may download or play unexpected items. If you have any devices running previous versions of iOS 7 beta, you must:

1) Install iOS 7 beta 6

2) Install the ResetMusicAndVideosLibraries configuration profile

3) From Settings>> Music, tap the Reset Media Library button

4) Restart the device

From your iOS device Safari browser, you may download the ResetMusicAndVideosLibraries Profile from HERE.

[HOW-TO] - Downgrade from iOS 7 beta to iOS 6

If you have upgraded your iOS device on iOS 7 beta version to check it out and want to downgrade back to iOS 4, then the good news is that you can downgrade.

This despite Apple’s warning which says you cannot downgrade back to a previous version of iOS.

Important points to note:

You will be able to downgrade back to iOS with latest version 6. xx (that was 6.1.4 iOS for the iPhone 4 and iOS 6.1.3 for iOS devices rest).
Please take a back up of your iOS device to iCloud or use iTunes.
Please note that when you downgrade back to iOS 4. xx, you should be able to revert back to iOS compatible backup 6. xx and isn’t iOS 7 backups to avoid compatibility problems.

Follow these simple instructions to downgrade to iOS 6:

Download iOS 6 firmware file xx is suitable for your phone from the links below:

iOS firmware files for iPod touch

Note: If you’re downloading the firmware files using Safari then ensure that auto unzip feature is disable or use Chrome or Firefox.

Connect the devices running iOS 7 beta version for your computer.
Launch iTunes and select the iOS device from the upper right corner, to the left of the button on the iTunes Store.
Hold the Alt/Option key (Shift key in Windows) on the keyboard and click the Restore button, iPhone/iPod touch in iTunes. Note: If you did Find My iPhone is enabled then it will prompt you to turn it off before you restore your iPhone (it is one of the features of iOS 7).

iTunes will announce that it will erase and restore your iOS device on iOS 6. xx and will check the restore with Apple.

Click Restore.
iTunes will now restore your iOS device on iOS 6. xx
After the restoration, the iOS device will restart. Then you will see the “slide to set up”. Follow the steps in the Setup Assistant iOS.
Then you can restore your device from a backup if needed.
