[News] - Maxis the 1st Operator in Malaysia to Launch 4G LTE with 75 Mbps Speed

The start of the new day and the start of 2013 New Year, Maxis become the first operator in Malaysia to offer 4G LTE 2600.

At the moment, it seems they only support LTE USB Dongle and some coverage areas. However, it was known that Nokia Smartphones such as Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 supported LTE 2600 band but it seems Maxis did not take this opportunity to package their 4G plans. Not sure what's the reason...

NOTE:

The Service speed is on a best effort basis. The typical average speed for the 7.2Mbps modem is 2Mbps; 21Mbps MiFi and PortaFi modem is 5 Mbps; 42Mbps USB modem is 10Mbps. Typical average speed for 75Mbps modem is between 10Mbps to 30Mbps
