[HOW-TO] - Update Your iOS 7 the Easy Way by Using iOS 7 Download Links

The firmware update will be available to all users with a compatible iOS device. iPhone owners using an iPhone 4, 4s or 5 will be able to grab hold of the new firmware for their devices.

1. Use the iOS 7 download links shown below.

2. Download the right iOS 7 for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.

3. Plug the device into the computer and perform a backup. Installing the iOS 7 will erase your iPhone so please do a backup for restore and sync later.

4. Open iTunes (NOTE: Must install iTunes 11.1 - Download from here) and upgrade to the iOS 7 by choosing Restore.

Be sure to hold alt/option on Mac when you click Restore.
On Windows, hold Shift when you click Restore.

5. Find and click on the .ipsw file you downloaded.

6. Complete the iOS 7 installation and restore from backup.

NOTE: It appears to be the same build as the iOS 7 Gold Master, so there’s no need to restore if you already have GM.
