Is it the death of Samsung? Will Samsung step back and review all their future designs? This patent war infringement creates such a buzz in the industry and makes many companies wary about their originality of their products.
Companies used to survive with the "copy-cats" mentality. Samsung is one of them. They have been like a leech and riding on Apple's success. Its about time for Samsung to be more innovative.

Among the Apple-patented features Samsung devices were found to have been infringing upon: the “bounce-back” that happens when you scroll to the end of a list, double-tap zoom, pinch-to-zoom as well as the design and iconography on iPhones, iPads and iPod Touches. 

The Samsung devices affected include the Galaxy S, Galaxy S II, Nexus S, Mesmerize, Vibrant, Fascinate, Skyrocket, Continuum, Prevail, Infuse, Gem, Mesmerize, Indulge, Replenish, Epic 4G Touch and Droid Charge smartphones and the Galaxy Tab and Tab 10.1 tablets, among others. Requirements

• nito Installer for Mac Software Application
• Jailbroken Apple TV 2

Step 1: Launch the “nito Installer” application.

Step 2: Select your desired Apple TV name in the dropdown box at the top, if you only have one Apple TV you can skip this step. You’ll see the IP Address of the device you’ve selected in the lower left hand corner.

Step 3: Press the “Install XBMC” button and wait a few minutes for it to complete.

Step 4: Once complete, you’ll see a green checkmark in the middle of the application.

Congratulations! You’ve now installed XBMC to your jailbroken Apple TV, painlessly, without employing any of your vast technical skills whatsoever. You’ll probably now want to transfer addons to your XBMC configuration.

I have Jailbroken my ATV 2 with the latest iOS 5.0.2.
My first try failed. But the second try is easy. The Jailbreaking process has becoming so much easier these days. Now I can Airplay my videos, photos and music from everywhere using my iPhone, iPad and Macbook Pro Retina.

[HOW-TO] - Jailbreak Apple TV 2 5.0.2 (iOS 5.1.1) using Seas0nPass (untethered)

It has been a long time since I looked at my Apple TV2. Maybe its time to upgrade and Jailbreak to the latest iOS 5.1.1 before Apple release the upcoming iOS 6.0.

Instructions on how to perform an untethered jailbreak of your second generation Apple TV using Seas0nPass.

Step One
Download the latest version of SeasonPass from here.

Step Two
Double click to extract the archive you downloaded. Then double click the extract application to launch it.


Step Three
You will be asked to sign in as an Administrator. Enter your username and password then click theOK button.


Step Four
You will be asked to enable UI Scripting. Click the Enable button.


Step Five
Click the Create IPSW button from the main screen.


Step Six
Seas0nPass will now download the latest Apple TV firmware file


Step Seven
Seas0nPass will create a custom IPSW file for you.


Step Eight
Once your custom IPSW file has been created, Seas0nPass will ask you to connect the Apple TV to your computer via a micro-USB cable and use the remote to put it into DFU mode by holding MENU and PLAY/PAUSE for 7 seconds. The power cable should be unplugged during this process. Tip: Press the buttons and insert the usb cable at the exact same time.


Step Nine
Once your Apple TV has been detected in DFU mode, Seas0nPass will upload some files, automatically launch iTunes, and beginning restoring to the new firmware.






Step Ten
That's it! Your Apple TV is jailbroken!
